Supports PDF files with text content
This tool extracts text content from your PDF and exports it as a CSV file that can be opened directly in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc.
Best for: PDFs that contain tabular data, reports, or structured text created digitally. Each line of text from the PDF becomes a row in the spreadsheet, alongside its page number.
Scanned PDFs: Scanned image-based PDFs do not contain an embedded text layer, so the resulting CSV may have little or no content. This tool works best with digitally created PDFs.
Output format: The CSV uses UTF-8 encoding with a BOM for proper Excel compatibility, and includes the page number alongside each line of text.
Privacy: All processing happens locally in your browser — no files are ever uploaded to any server.
